It’s officially the first day of summer! When I think about summertime, one wedding from 2024 comes to mind: Shelby and Adam’s wedding at Innsbrook Resort. In the initial consultation with Shelby, we discussed the vision for their wedding day – ethereal and whimsical, forest fairy vibes, and a color scheme reminiscent of Claude Monet and Bridgerton. I knew I had to book this wedding.
Seeing this wedding come to life was nothing short of a dream come true. It perfectly fit Shelby and Adam’s vision. I am positively obsessed with how Shelby’s hair turned out, and it matched her dress to perfection (seriously, she knocked the forest fairy vibes out of the park and I think about her bridal hair at least once a week). They got ready in the cabins at Innsbrook, had a late afternoon ceremony overlooking the pond, shared private vows at sunset followed by some dreamy golden hour portraits, and danced the night away with their family and friends. I know Dancing Queen by ABBA is always a hit at wedding receptions, but their guests brought it to an entirely new level.
I absolutely loved being a part of Shelby and Adam’s wedding at Innsbrook Resort. From running through the forest to tearing up over the toasts, the variety of cake flavors made by a dear family friend, and the overall aesthetic of the day, this one goes down as one of my favorite Missouri weddings.
