A Vibrant Summer Wedding in Vancouver, British Columbia

Last summer, just two weeks after flying to Colorado for Madreah and Antonio’s wedding, I flew out to Canada for another spectacular wedding. This Vancouver wedding was an entire family affair. It was a weekend to remember.

My cousin, Keith, and his fiancé, Camila started their wedding weekend with a welcome party overlooking the water. It was complete with the best appetizers and drinks. Though, I had just found out a week prior that I was pregnant, so I’m only speaking on the non alcohol options. The next day, we started getting ready at their apartment complex. This was followed by the most beautiful ceremony at Christ Church Cathedral. We ended the day with a reception at the Vancouver Convention Centre. I didn’t know what to expect going into it. However, the views from the convention center alone make me want to shoot every wedding reception there.

Featuring guests from across the United States, Brazil, and Canada, this wedding checked off all the boxes. It had the sweetest Brazilian treats, a dessert bar, late night sliders and s’mores, a loaded seafood selection, and a packed dance floor. If you know me at all, you know that family weddings will always hold a special place in my heart. It’s an added bonus that we got to celebrate in the Pacific Northwest again. Don’t get me wrong, I love my midwest weddings. Still, something about the PNW has a chokehold on me. I don’t think it’s too much to ask to get some mountains and forests in Missouri. Anyways, check out the highlights from Keith and Cami’s Vancouver wedding below!
