Let’s go back in time to July 2024. This time, we’re headed to Robinson Farms Nxt Gen. This stunning venue in Cape Girardeau, Missouri offers a timeless elegance with its luxurious grounds and gorgeous rooms. I had my eye on this venue as soon as it was announced. So, when Alex and Michael reached out to me for their wedding, I knew it was one I had to book.

Alex and Michael are one of the most fun-loving couples I’ve gotten to work with. Their wedding was a true representation of their love story and individual personalities coming together. I loved the emotional first looks with Alex and her dad and grandparents. Michael’s dance students being present at their wedding was a special touch, as well. Alex and Michael wholeheartedly put their families at the center of their wedding day. They made it more than just a marriage between the two of them. It was a ceremony that joined two families into one.

Aside from the wedding being at Robinson Farms (a new favorite, if you couldn’t tell), the best part of their wedding day had to be the reception. Michael’s students came together and performed with Michael. The dance floor ultimately remained packed for the rest of the night. From the emerald green details and local-to-Cape Girardeau vendor team, to the tender moments shared between family and friends and unforgettable reception, this wedding is sure to live rent free in my mind.

Here’s to Alex and Michael (and their new baby that they had earlier this year!), and a lifetime of happiness. I’m hoping for more Robinson Farm weddings in the near future!
